Is it illegal to post nude videos without a person’sknowledge or consent?

My ex-boyfriend secretly recorded me on skype while I was nude without my knowledge or consent and posted them on the internet for money. What should I do? Do I have a case? Can a lawyer help me to find and delete these videos? We both are of legal age (24 years old).

Many states in this country have criminal statutes prohibiting the unauthorized depiction of a person with or without clothes if the person depicted is over the age of 18 and more stringent laws if the person depicted is a minor.

However, from what you have written, the claim that you may have against your former boyfriend sounds more of a civil action where you should consult with a personal injury attorney as opposed to making a police report for a criminal complaint.

I suggest that you consult with a personal injury lawyer as to the best way to get the nude photos of you deleted from the internet.
