If there is a typo on mystreet on my ticket, will it be dismissed in court?
I’m 17 and this December would make 2 years of having my license with a pretty clean record (I’ve had only 3 run-ins: 1 was a speeding warning, then a speeding ticket that ended up getting taken off my record and thrown out, and now this) He ended up taking my license and giving me a court date because of the stop sign. It’s the first time I’ve ever done this. Also, I won’t be able to appear in court on the scheduled date and I called the court which said I need to come in to try and change it to an earlier date. What are the chances of this?

If you need to have a continuance of your upcoming hearing date for your traffic ticket you need to go to the court clerk in person to see if you can get a new date. Possibly the court clerk will be able to do this if you go in early enough before the scheduled date. If the date cannot be changed, you need to show up on the date, place and time set in your citation.
If the police officer incorrectly made an error as to a street on your ticket, the error in and of itself will not be a basis for dismissing the action against you.
If the police officer who cited you fails to appear at court for the hearing, then the citation most likely will be dismissed as to you.
