You have the right to a copy of your file. Even though they are closing their doors, they have to maintain (or at least, they really should maintain) a copy for 6 or 7 years of all their files, in case of alleed malpractice--that's why they don't have to give you their only copy of the file. They may be able to charge you for copying expenses.
