IfI’im breaking a lease due to not being able to afford it, what can the landlord charge for?

Can he charge me a fee of $1400 for the property management to find a new tenant? I don’t have money to pay any more months because I’m single mom with 5 children and I have to move and pay rent in my new house.

Under the laws of all states in this country, if you break your lease for failing to pay what is owed on it, your damages would be the amount of the lease left at a monthly rate less any rental money the landlord gets for a new tenant for the balance of your term that is left.
