Now, it is not the company's responsibility to notify you of this. Also, bear in mind that you do *not* have points on your license because of the insurer--the insurer is not the state or the DMV and does not put points on your license. It is the state/DMV which made the determination that under the circumstances of this accident, you should get points on your license.
