If I my ex husband died a couple of weeks before the divorce was finalized, what would happen to the property, and would I get any Social security?

I already got remarried, but have a son from my ex husband.

I obviously do not know a large amount of the specifics that are needed to truly advise in this situation. However speaking generally if a divorce does not go through and a person dies than their assets are probated and treated as if the marriage was still if effect.

Your best bet is to contact the attorney who handled the divorce and simply ask them because they know exactly what was done and what was left and if in fact your still entitled to their social security and property.
