If I knowlingly used a false birth date when applying for a marriage license, can I be held liable?

What would be the ramifications? I’m over age 21.

If you use a false birth date to apply for a marriage license if you are a minor, it could nullify the marriage because you did not have the legal ability to get married without your parents' written permission. However, if you are over the age of 21, not sure what can happen.  Your birth date should match your identification (driver's license, passport).  If it doesn't, your spouse could possibly use that to seek an emancipation of the marriage because the spouse married you with fraudulent information. Not sure why you wish to give a false birthdate, but it involves obtaining any sort of benefits, retirement or job bonuses, it could have worse ramifications for you than the status of the marriage itself.
