It won't help you because while the technical marriage may be a way to prevent deportation, a) the marriage itself will now be subject to even more scrutiny and background investigation and interviews of both people and b) if your deportation has to do with criminal activity, it may not matter and your removal will go through anyway. Before making any rash decisions, consider immediately talking to your immigration attorney about next steps and if your possible marriage to a U.S. citizen (if legitimate) would help stay or delay proceedings.
