A child born during a legal marriage is presumed to be a child of the marriage. But that presumption can be rebutted by outside evidence, such as DNA testing, etc. Affidavits of paternity or non paternity are also used. Yes, as the father you have rights to your child the same as the child's mother. Placing your name on the birth certificate should be fina. Good luck.
