If I file a motion to sell my my ex-boyfriend’s home that we own together, can he appeal?

I have already offered to sign the house over to him for what I had invested & have also offered mediation with a counselor. He refused both unless I did a quitclam deed prior to refinancing. We have only owned the home sfor a year.

What you need to do is to bring an action for Partition, which requests that the court split the asset equally between you.  Since you can not "split" a house equally the court generally directs that the asset be sold and the proceeds split between you.  By filing the motion it may get him to come off of his unreasonable position and negotiate properly.  Get legal help.  Good luck.
