You are on the lease? She can sue you for half of the rent, as long as she has not found a replacement roommate. Essentially, you had no right to break the lease. If you broke the lease, one month is not sufficient if you have a lease that runs more than month to month.
She has to mitigate her damages, so must work really hard to get a roommate but if she doesn't, you are on the hook for your half until she finds a tenant.
