If you aregetting a divorce, can your spouse take the only car that you have to get to work?

You have kids but she is living with another guy that has bought her a car. Can she have the only car I have to get to my work?

Ok so I am assuming that when you separated you either agreed for her to be able to take the car - maybe because of her having the kids to shuttle around? - or the court awarded her the car for the same reasons.  Now, if the situation has changed and she has a new car then I would suggest that you seek to modify the order or the agreement to allow you access to the automobile for work.  But I must say that unless the car is titled in her name I highly doubt that the court will modify anything at this point in time. Even if her boyfriend has bought her a car as you say the court will not see it that way if it is still titled in his name.  Good luck.
