If a portion of your house was damaged in a storm, will the insurance company pay for it all to get redone?

Hail storm did extreme damage on the front of the house. No windows. Siding done. Rest of the house is fine. Siding is old and will not match new. Will they only cover the front of house expenses?

Assuming you have a home insurance policy for the home that you are writing about, you need to carefully read its terms and exclusions to see what is covered under it and what is not.

Typically if there is insurance coverage for the siding and a portion of it is damage, the policy will cover and pay for the repairs of area that was damaged only, no other portion of the home's siding.
