If I wrecked a rental car and a judge suspended my license indefinitely until I pay damages, how do I get my license back?

A rental car company sued me for damages in an accident in which I did not have collision on the rental. I didn’t know this because my insurer paid for the rental in the first place. The judge in turn suspended my license indefinitely until I pay the rental company 7k in damages. Is there any defense to avoid having to pay without claiming bankruptcy?

Some thing dos not sound right here.  What was the cause of the accident?  Why did your insurer pay for the rental?  Were they notified of the suit?  I think that you should take all the paperwork and the facts to an attorney in your area to review.  Otherwise paying seems the way to go.
