What to do if I work for an adult day care service and drive clients up but just found out that I’m not being paid for the time that I pick up them up to the time that I drop them off?

This is from 7:00 am to 8:45 am, 5 days a week. If I’m not being paid by my employer, is this legal?

If you are not being paid by your employer for the time that you actually work at your job, you need to bring such to his or her attention verbally and in writing. Keep a copy of what is given by to your employer for future use and need.

If the matter is not remedied, then you need to consult with a labor attorney and/or a representative with your local department of labor.
