i will like to know if i have a case after getting fired due to the face that a new manger that came didnt like me.
i been working for my job since oct of 08 and have not been in any trouble (daycare) at my job, Once a old manger leaves and a new one comes things turned bad and now i am fired and the new manger havent even been there a month.i think its unfair because she dont like me that she had a right to get rid of me.

Virginia follows an "employment-at-will" doctrine, which means that an employee may be fired for any reason as long as it is not illegal (i.e. discrimination).
Also, if you have a written employment contract, see if it specifies circumstances when an employee will be fired. If it does, then you can only be fired for one of the specified circumstances.
