If I was test driving a friend’s uninsured car and was rear-ended, what is my liability if the at-fault driver was insured?

Will the other driver’s insurer still fix the car? I have full coverage on my vehicle if that makes any difference.

If the at-fault driver had insurance, then the at-fault driver's insurance is obligated to pay, regardless whether your friend's car was insured or you had coverage on your vehicle, which you were not driving.  I assume you were "test driving" because you were thinking of buying it?  If you bought the car, you would typically have about two weeks (see your policy) to notify your insurance company, during which time your insurance would cover you on the newly purchased vehicle.
