How long should I wait to present my case? And what’s is it worth?

You should seek the services of a personal injury attorney as soon as you can.  From the facts presented it would appear that you have a good case.  Many attorneys will give a free initial consultation for this type of suit.  Assuming that the car that struck yours was insured your claim should be fairly straightforward.  Even if there was no such insurance your attorney can best advise as to what other steps you can take.

As for what your claim is worth, well that takes many issues into consideration.  For example, how you earn your living, how long the injury lasts, how long you will be out of work, etc.  For what you indicate this sounds like a very painful injury and this too will be taken into consideration.

Again my advice to you is to see an attorney.  To help with finding one in your area refer to www.AttorneyPages.com.
