Technically, your employer is only required to pay for your health insurance (if it has been paying some or all of it) up through the date of your termination. Certain insurance policies may require the employer to do more than that--for example, if premiums are pre-paid and are not pro ratable--but as a matter of law, the employer would not be obligated to pay for any period past the end of your employment.
