If I was involved in an accident where I am not at fault, is it possible for me to receive all of the money I spent on the vehicle?

My car was involved in an accident. The car got rear-ended while we were waiting at a red light to turn left. The other car slid towards us and hit the back of my car with its passenger side door. The driver and I were not injured, but my car is declared a total loss. My car is only 4 months old. I am now receiving the “diminished” value for my vehicle. Can I get the full amount that I paid for my vehicle? I would be losing $2,500 for something that was not my fault?
