If I was not at fault for a recent car accident but did not have time to register my car in my name beforehand, can my insurance claim be denied?

Since my name is not the one on the title?

Good question. If your policy of insurance does not designate the vehicle that you are writing about as an insured vehicle then most likely your claim will be denied. However, it the policy does and the car is not in your name, you should have coverage for it under your own separate policy.
