What to do if I was hit by an uninsured driver?

No one was injured so no police called per city ppolicy. The other driver provided insurance information but I just received a letter that her policy was cancelled almost 2 weeks before the accident. How do I recover damages like my deductible if she has no insurance to go through?

Hello. Often in a situation as you describe there will be at least a couple of options for you.  Legal action in the nature of an actual lawsuit is but one possibility.  I recommend you confer with a private attorney.  All the best.
