If I was exposed to asbestos by my employer due to gross negligence on the project managers part, can I sue a company I work for?

I was exposed to asbestos at work due to gross negligence by the company I work for. Now the project managers is lying to cover his own backside. Do I have the legal right to sue my company for exposing myself and potentially my family to asbestos?

If or when you become sick due to the exposure, or incur medical costs, you can probably sue the company. However, until that happens--and hopefully it never will--you may not sue. That is because the legal system does not provide compensation for risks or potential threats--only for actual injuries or costs which you incur.
