What are my rights if a company charged my account without my authorization?
I was dealing with this company’s customer support. I was told that I would receive upgraded repair service on my $600 console at no charge. However, the company still charged my account without my authorization. When I called about the charge it refused to refund the service unless I cancelled my repair. I have the conversation documented, proving what they said. Can I take legal action against the company?

If you cancelled the repair and got the $600.00 charge debited from your account then you have not been damaged per se. However, if this company has a practice of doing what it did to you to others it may be engaging in unfair business ptactices that you can file suit for seeking an injunction.
