There is a difference between being charged with a felony and being convicted of one. Generally speaking, if you were charged and the charges were dropped, in most states you may qualify for an expungement and you would need to file a motion to erase the record (charges, arrests, etc). If you were convicted of a felony, in Alabama, then there may not be recourse for you. Speak to an attorney to see if you can be granted a new trial or other methods to lessen the crime.
