What to do if I was brought here as a refugee when I was 6 years old and my mother never filed for my permanent residenccy?
I thought she did but I just recently found all this out and I’m now 30. Can I apply for permanent residence now without an issue?

Any time that you are working with immigration matters, there is always the possibility that "issues" will arise. However, considering the length of time that you have been here and how you got here (not of your own volition), you have a better chance of resolving your residency status. You need to consult with an attorney that specializes in immigration law. This is not the type of case that you need to handle on your own because of you initially entered the country.
