If you were attacked and injured while at work as an employee then you are entitled under the laws of all states in this country to make a worker's compensation claim. As such, you need to make a claim for work related injuries with your employer.
Assuming your employer has a worker's compensation policy in place, you cannot sue him or her under the laws for the injuries you sustained.
