What to do if I stole a debit card and used $50?

This is my 1st offense and I’m 19. Can my case be changed to theft by taking instead of financial transaction fraud?

From what you have written about concerning the criminal charge against you, you should consult with a criminal defense attorney to see what your legal options are. Since this your first offense, perhaps you might qualify for court probation and if successful as to it, the charge could be dismissed.
