If I recently left a job for which I signed a non-compete agreement after being hired but have relocated to another state, is the agreement still enforceable?

While the non-compete does not appear to be enforceable in my former state, language in the agreement indicates that it is to be subject to my current state’s law. In addition, portions of the non-compete restrict my actions for 12 months after employment, while others have no time component (run indefinitely). Is this likely to be an enforceable non-compete?

It is very difficult to give any guidance on the agreement with out reading it in the context of the law.  So I would strongly suggest you seek to have an attorney review it.  But it is a contract that was entered in to in New Hampshire and that state does not like restrictive covenants, especially if over broad.  And your has a inkling of being over broad.  So please take it some where to be read.  Good luck.
