If my tenant’s rent is overdue and I can’t locate her, what are my options for evicting, changing locks and removing her property?

I own a house and lease a room to a roommate. She hasn’t answered my texts, phone calls, emails or facebook messages. The last time I saw her she said she was going to spend some time with a friend that was injured. She left before giving me the rent in time.

So you are a landlord and she is a tenant, correct?  Then you have to go through a formal eviction, starting with notice and then a summary proceeding to evict.  Once you have an order of eviction then the Marshall or Sheriff can execute same and get rid of her stuff.  I would speak with ana ttorney to do it right.  Good luck.
