Am I responsible for a leak if I moved out of my apartment early?
I moved out of my apartment a week early but when I came back to clean I found a leak in my ceiling. It was right under my bathtub and now they want me to pay $750 for damages to the carpet. Is this even right?

Whether or not you are legally responsible for the leak in your apartment ultimately depends whether or not you caused the leak or not and if the landlord can demonstrate somehow you caused the damages. If the landlord cannot demonstrate that you caused the leak in the ceiling then you would be responsible for the costs of repair. Unless the landlord can demonstrate you causing the damages, you should not be required to pay the $750.00 amount you have mentioned in your question.
