If you missed the court appearance on the charge of battery, the judge has probably issued a bench warrant for your arrest.  In addition to the original charge of battery, you have an additiional charge of failure to appear.  It would be advisable to be represented by an attorney.  As for the penalty for a failure to appear, this will be determined by the judge.  The judge might revoke your bail or impose another sentence or fine.
