If you quit your job, when are you supposed to receive your final paycheck?
I recently resigned from my job and gave a 2 week notice. I am a manager and I also suspected that they would have me leave…no big surprise. However, being they asked me to leave immediately, when should I expect to be paid – according to the normal pay period (all remaining owed) or as though I was fired (within 24 hours)?

Since you resigned, under CO state law, you are to receive your wages and compensation, due and payable, upon the next regular payday. This is true even though your 2 week notice was not honored. The fact is that an employer is not legally bound to such a notice. This is true unless such an action violates company policy or the terms of an employment contract or union agreement.
