The police let me go and told me to bring the card to them.

The issue is whether or not you used the card in a fraudulent nature. You could be charged with a felony for Fraudulent Use of An Electronic Device, if you did not have the owner's permission to use the card, or if the card was illegally or fraudulently obtained. The police may want to question you upon you turning the card in. I would advise you to speak with a criminal defense attorney in your area about your situation before you answer any questions from the police.
