If I won a small claims for a security deposit but they have made no effort to pay, how do I now collect/or what course of action next?

Generally speaking, after you have won an action to recover money you have to have the money won reduced to a judgement and the judgement entered. Then you can collect on the judgement in any way your state allows: garnish wages, levy a bank account, file a lien against the property. There are services that help. Good luck.
