If I have full custody of my minor daughter, can my ex prevent her from getting her driver’s license when she turns 16?
He is upset because I leased a car, in my name, for her to drive without his blessing. He wanted to get her a used car to teach her values. He was dragging his heals on picking a car out, etc.and I need her to be able to drive to help with her sister in after school activities etc. My ex does not help with any of the transportation of either daughter.

It is not an issue of you having full custody but rather what the issue will be is what the custody order states. You need to review that order to see if it gives both parents the ability to make unilateral decisions or whether such decisions require the say of both parents. If it is unclear, that is a point to dad, who may be able to use that vagueness to block your lease. You may wish to bring this up in court to amend the order. That may be your best option to fully obtain the full ability to make a decision with her driving.
