What to do if I’ve filed for divorce and am trying to purchase a home but all accounts are “joint” in both mine and my husband’s name?

Is there any way I can have my husband court ordered to release funds before our divorce is final?

What you wish to do is to either come to a written agreement with your husband as to the division of that particular marital asset (in writing and ideally with use of attorneys) or make a motion (a formal request of a judge) to ask the court to make a partial distribution and relinquish the funds to you.  Good luck.
