No, no, no!  You were so smart to see that big red flag go up there.  Do you have an attorney? Get one for this purpose. I would call the person back and give them the name of your lawyer and have them send all the paperwork to the attorney to review. If you never hear from them contact the state attorney general's office and file a fraud complaint.  Good luck.
