If I have a tenent that smokes pot and she and her family threaten us, what is the quickest way to get rid of her?

You have two different issues here with the pot smoking and the threats.  First let's assume that they have a written lease.  If you wish to evuct them then you have to have "just cause" to terminate their lease early.  The questions become are the threats or pot smoking enough for just cause.  If marijuana is illegal in your state it may be enough.  There is also the issue of the right to "quiet enjoyment" of your property by other tenants and even you.  The threats may clearly be enough to evict.  I would speak with a landlord tenant attorney in your area about the servive of a 3 day notice.  Good luck.
