If I own a body shop and have a customer who has left their vehicle here completed for over 2 months, what can I do?

I have recently investigated and found out that the couple who I’ve done the repairs for do not own the vehicle. It is titled in someone else’s name and also has a local bank as a lienholder. I have an incomplete repair order signed by the person who brought me the vehicle. They owe me $2200.

You can sue the person who brought the vehicle in for the unpaid bill. You may be able to sue the vehicle owners if they authorized that person to use and bring in the vehicle--i.e. you can't sue them if someone stole the car or otherwise took it without authority. Given the priority of the bank's lien on the vehicle, attempting to put a lien on it will not likely help you--the bank's lien will be senior and would have to be paid first before you lien is paid.
