What to do if I had an ER doctor who messed up a lumbar puncture and hit nerves she was not supposed to?
Now, 3 years later I still have nerve issues in my legs and have been told it’s permanent. It was 3 years ago (almost 4). Can I still file a lawsuit?

I do not practice in Maine. However, it appears that the statute of limitations in Maine is 3 years from the negligent act. These statutes are always complicated and difficult to interpret. Therefore, I suggest you call a couple medical malpractice lawyers in Maine IMMEDIATELY. The time for filing suit may have passed in your case, but if not, it will surely pass soon. You owe it to yourself to consult someone now.
