What to do about an insurance claim that has been closed?
I had an auto accident 3 months ago and at the time I was having a headache and an achy back. The adjuster from the insurance company called me and asked how I was doing. I told her about the soreness and that I had hit my knee when I was rear-ended and it was swollen. She told me that she wanted to send me a $300 check for my pain in my knee and any anxiety it may had caused me when he hit me. She also said that if my neck or back continued to bother me to call her. Well, I called her and she had her supervisor call me to tell me that when I deposited the $300 check that closed my injury claim. I want to know it that is possible or true? I know they want me to believe it but for some reason I don’t.
