If I got rear-ended and hit a bus but the defendant claims that I hit the bus first then he hit me and now his insurer won’t pay for front damages, what should I do?
My car was rear-ended which caused me to hit a public transportation bus which I was standing behind. The insured’s insurance denied to pay for damages to the front, only for the rear because insured said I hit the bus first. Car is not driveable and is racking up storage charges. I have minimum liability coverage. No one was hurt. What should I do?

Are there any witnesses and is there a police report? If no independent witnesses what about the bus driver (did the driver hear an impact before your car hit the bus)?
