What to do if I got charged with criminal trespassing ,1st degree?

I was with a friend, we went to another mutual friend’s house. This mutual friend had recently let his house go to foreclosure; the bank now owns it I believe. The friend that I was with kicked the door in and the neighbor called the police. I was arrested; my friend was not (he had fled the scene). What should I do?

Given the unfortunate situation that you now find yourself in I suggest that you immediately consult with a criminal defense attorney to see what legal means are available to resolve the matter. You might qualify for the court's diversion program and if so, and you complete the program satisfactorily the charge could be dismised.
