What to do if I got an underaged drinking ticket along with 5-10 other people my age?

We were all at a party which was on, a friend’s, private property. In addition I got in a fight that night and am being charged with disturbing the peace. However, I was not breathalyzed and never admitted to drinking on the property.

While the State of New Jersey has not codified underage drinking on private property as a violation of the State law, most of New Jersey 566 municipalities have enacted laws prohibiting underage drinking on private property.  Seems that your charge is subject to a very specific local law and its penalties, which is difficult to determine given the information you have stated here.  But municipalities take these matters very, very seriously and you should consult with an attorney in your area regarding the matter.
