He would only have to do that if it is either 1) negotiated and agreed to as part of a voluntary divorce settlement between the two of you, or 2) ordered by the court, at the end of the divorce proceedings, in the divorce decree or order. It is possible he will have to do this, but you cannot count on it: the law does not explicitly require an ex-spouse to provide his ex-spouse with a car. It is more likely that you will have to buy a car yourself using your share of any property/asset distribution and/or from any spousal support you get.
