I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area.  The finance company may come after you for the balance of the money owed despite your mom's BK filing.  Your credit will be affected to the extent that you do not pay for the car loan.  I am not sure what you are really asking me here.  However, if i have not answered the question please re-ask your question again and i will do my best to answer it.
