Yes; if he is on your insurance, you would be liable or responsible for any unpaid balances, so not only would health care providers, etc. look to you for payment, but it's your credit which would be hurt if they are not paid. You could have a written agreement with your son that he will repay/reimburse you, but that agreement is only between the two of you--it does not change the fact that you are responsible for the balances in the first place.
