Is it legal that my employer hold my earned credit tips for up to three days?
I am currently a waitress. The power went out at our facility for a short period of time and now my employer isn’t allowing our tips from credit be distributed until this following Monday. I regularly receive these same “credit” tips before leaving each day.

The law does not require the credit tips to be paid the same day, and three days is perfectly legal. That your employer was paying these credit card-based tips the same day was a courtesy, convenience, or accomodation to employees, not anything they had to do.
