How to get a mail-in probation for a DUI?

I was arrested in for DUI 5 months ago and convicted this month. I was sentenced to 1 year probation with early termination, community service, and driving on a hardship license for another 6 months. I’m originally from one state but living in another where I got the DUI. I had a license in my former state and my record was clean. I am broke and now need to move back. How can I get mail in probation? Can I get my license when I move back and do my community service there?

You will need to discuss this with the probation office/community service co-ordinator where you were convicted.  More often than not  these matters can be transferred to the area where you will be moving,eg. community service . Your limited privilege may also need to be amended by a judge depending on the restrictions for your luimited privilege. If you had an attorney initially he/she can assist you with this probably quicker than you you could yourself, if necessary.
